To continue a thread from a couple of days ago....Here's newsreel footage of The Kinks invading Iceland, 1965.  It's not as much fun as the French video from the same year that I posted earlier, largely because the music here is all canned, but you still can feel that electric buzz....  And here's 1964 footage of them playing the Cavern Club up in Liverpool.  Wasn't that bar associated with some other band?
