A headline found this morning at the
New York Times website: "
North Korea to Try US Journalists." It only makes sense, I think: they've already tried Stalinism, economic self-sufficiency, missile tests, limited economic trading zones, among other things, so they might as well try US journalists, too. After all, our reporters are a pretty compliant lot, willing to bend over backward currying favor with power. I mean, the tactic worked pretty well for the Bush Administration, so why shouldn't Pyongyang try it?
